# devdiary # indiedev Implementing seeds. Now plants are created from seeds and seeds are spreaded from plants. Seeds could be gathered and replanted or maybe eated.

# devdiary # indiedev This week we have worked on “Services”, an abstraction for actor interactions with other actors, buildings, doors, objects, etc…This will speed up development of new behaviours and game features and it will wider modding capabilities.

# devdiary # indiedev Implementing a behavior fallback when tribe lacks of food supplies. Now tribe members will try to gather some food by themselves but they will get angry with the tribe. Maybe it is time to leave or to change the tribe leader?

# indydev # devdiary Hard working week solving bugs and polishing services system. Some bugs remains ( Tasks mysteriously disappearing, and other weird issues ). Good new is that the system is pretty powerful and very easy to add new services. Now corpses can be looted too!

#gamedev #devdiary Refactoring sleep need and behavior. Each actor chooses the best available place to sleep. Maybe in a hut or around a campfire. Or maybe the only option is to sleep in the open.

Sleep component is implemented in order to support traits, so a child could sleep more than an adult and an elder will wake earlier in the morning.

Is very easy to mod a building in order to allow people sleeping inside. You only have to add the “sleep service component” and configure vacancies.
