Derbyshire - I want to build a hill fort on Lantern Pike!
Slightly more seriously, I’d love to have ancient Britain. Settlers could arrive from Europe and carve settlements out of the primeval forests.

The Danube River would be realy nice. Also his Delta

This is very interesting however most modern height maps will have remnants of modern earthworks etc, particularly where waterways are concerned. My understanding is that permanent settlements would not be sited immediately adjacent to rivers as, at that point in history, most would still have significant seasonal flood plains.

Do we know whether flood banks/ land reclamation existed at all in the time period?

Loosely related question

Will there be a way to simulate seasonal terrain conditions along with seasonal weather? For example: river levels rising and flood plains/ marshes becoming unusable, then being used for agriculture, or drying up completely etc.
