Eneas, You can start in the Bronze Age with a migrating tribe too.

do we have to or is it optional?

Not sure at this moment. Our focus is in Neolithic game play right now.
But I don’t see a problem to start nomadic always, even more in the Bronze Age, time of colonisation with settlers moving everywhere.

I see. I just wanted to know if say there was an island on the map and we wanted to start on that island instead of first having to build a city and discover boats in order to get there if we could get there first. Idk, it’s your game and I thought it would be a useful gameplay mechanic.

@Uncasual lo siento, en ingles se escribe lo nombre Aeneas, non Eneas.

Not perfect by good try with that spanish @Dernwine
“Aeneas”, ok, it is always good to learn new things ; )

It’s many years since I had to use Spanish, sometimes it’s good to try to see if I can still do it. Thank you.
(It’s a struggle not to slip into Italian whenever I try!)

Then let me correct it for you:
Lo siento @Ailantd. En ingles el nombre se escribe “Aeneas”, no “Eneas”.

Don’t hesitate to correct my English too or I will never improve it

thought that was who you were referencing lol.

Ahh thank you. See in Italian it would be “In Inglese si scirvi il nome “Aeneas” non “Eneas.”” XD Italian grammar superimposed upon Castilian vocabulary!

Aeneas, whom he and his descendants are said to have founded Rome?

Then it would be a question, which is the extent to which the player can contribute to this figure. (Egoperspektive, Personalization (Skin) diplomatic options?

How big will a group start? Or the player will assemble the group. Or does it follow in the game course?

If he has a selection among several groups, there are differences in the composition (male / female, rather craftsman, rather warrior, rather hunters)?

Yes

I was not talking about strong characters in the game, just pointing that migration have sense even in later ages.

Initial group will be randomly generated, but the size will be configurable, probably.

I’d love that…
Also, Japan’s Jomon period!!!

I’d pay $50 for a Jomon DLC, easily

There is so many period I want to play in neolithic time :

  • Ancient Chinese dynasty
  • Indus valley
  • Central America
  • Andes
  • Central and eastern europe
  • Japan
  • Polynesian islands

And the list only expand with the bronze age… Not all of them will come true :sob:

I also love the Indus Valley civilization!
Most focus on the later “Indus Civilazation,” but I like the earlier Neolithic cultures. Either way, it is an amazing place!
