Archaeologists and Historians Sub-Forum

University degree on History here. Left the field for digital art and 3d-modeling. So I am very interested in to join the group!

Historian (Uni MA) here! Main fields of study were a bit scattered. Medieval warfare, sieges and defenses ( mainly Europe), a bit of asian history and early colonial history. Heck I like it all as I also know my fair share of ancient cultures of europe and the middle east or the modern wars and politics. Why in the world would a historian be limited to only one field of study? ( besides lack of time? )

Currently working in a different fields however. Like digital print ( indesign etc ) and seo + webdesign.

Soā€¦ donā€™t hesitate to ask if you need help on the subjects mentioned!

Hello there,

I am new to the forum and I am a history student in France. I am not specialized nor I am going to specialize in Ancient History (or archaeology). However, I do have access to a lot of academic resources in French. I am not sure if this counts or not but thanks.

Hi everyone !

Iā€™m happy to see that I can apply to the group too, Iā€™m graduated in Archaeology at Laval University in Canada. Iā€™m a french canadian, so please appologize my grammatical mistakes (ahaha!) Iā€™m about to start a Master in prehistoric era (late paleolithic and neolithic). One of my futur co-director is specialist in analysis of the ancient micromarks on the neolithic stone tools of the caucasuse. I really appreciate if I can access to the close group because I share the same interest to contribute in the discussions about the coherence between the context of the game and the gameplay!

thanks you and Iā€™m glad to meet you guys !

Hello everybody! Iā€™ve no degree but a really strong passion about history, and ancient history in particular. Iā€™m reading/studying university-level books and would love to have access to the sub-forum, mostly to learn and contribute as much as I can (with meaningful questions rather than expert answers). You can always kick me out later

Hi there,

I was wondering if I could be added into the ā€œArchaeologists and Historians Sub-Forumā€. I am currently studying Egyptology (Ancient Kingdoms) at University here in England and am working towards my History degree within the aforementioned field of Egyptology.

I am more than happy to help in any way I can.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I only saw this subforum recently. Iā€™ve finished last year my Archaeology Masters and, if needed, I would be glad to help.

Hey Iā€™m studying business, but I know a great deal about history through many university courses. Plus itā€™s a subject Iā€™m very passionate about so Iā€™ve done a fair amount of self investigation. Would love to be able to have access to the forum. And, added bonus, Iā€™m in a 2 quarter, each quarter is 10 weeks, class right now called Civilization and the City, so very relevant.

I am an archaeologist with a BA, MLitt and at the moment a ReMa student at the Unviersity of Groningen. I specalise mostly in the Bronze Age Eastern Mediterranean, predominatley on the craftmanship of bronze weaponary in the Middle Helladic III to Late Helladic I. Here to help in anyway I can. On a side note, I looking forward to playing this game, not only as a gamer but as an archaeologist

Hi there ! I do live near Bordeaux, France. I recently crafted a bronze age sword ;). Tried to reproduce the kind of swords that have been found around here and dated circa 900 BC.
Very pleased to see people having this kind of interest here

Oh hey, you might know Adam Wiznura! We were on a New Halos excavation in 2016, he recently started his PhD in Groningen.

Wondering if I can get in on the group No degree no specific qualifications other than more years of wisdom than most mainly just a interest in peoples thoughts and opinions on the historical aspects of the game.
