I think its just an absolutely wonderful (and somewhat hilarious) example of how people back then thought the exact same way as we do now.

I have read it some time ago, really funny.

Researching a bit about Mesopotamia culture you can find some practices that we today link to the Islam, that are in fact cultural traditions coming from that far.

interestingly enough, I thought that the Stele and letters from the Umma-Lagash Border War were the first complaints ever recorded as both sides claim the other trespassed or attacked them unprovoked, yada yada yada. But, cool! If you want to read em, here ya go The Sumerian "Hundred Years War"
